In the realm of custom woodworking, “custom” means tailoring a piece of furniture to your specific needs and desires. It involves collaboration between you and us, where you have a say in everything from the design and dimensions to the choice of wood and finish.
Lead times can vary based on factors such as complexity, our workload, and the availability of materials. In general, you can expect lead times from several weeks to a few months.
We mostly work with hardwood (commonly oak, maple, walnut or cherry) which, with its more uniform grain and darker colour, is the optimal choice for furniture — creating a durable and high-quality product. We can guide you in choosing the wood that aligns with your vision and style, and is the best fit for your furniture piece.
Standard options include natural oil waxes for a matte look, hardwax oils for durability and water-based lacquers. We will work with you to select the perfect finish that compliments your interior decor.
A 50% deposit is required to secure a spot in the production schedule, with the remaining balance due upon completion.
